Teeeenuuh!

Hello there friends,

This is the "Mrs" popping in on The Daily Couch for the first time!
I am writing because I am hoping to bring attention to the story of our amazing friend, Christina. She has one of the most remarkable stories you will come across and is one of the most spectacular people you will meet. Please take a moment to check out her awesome website: www.christinaahmann.com.

Dana and I found out this week, that our Christina has officially been diagnosed with a malignant grade 3 glial brain tumor. In the last month, she went from having headaches and blurred vision, to finding out there was a large tumor stowed away in the back right side of her brain and that surgery would be needed. She sailed through surgery like a champ, but the biopsy results did not come back as we had hoped and the tumor could not be completely removed.

Christina has very rare form of brain cancer that was very difficult to diagnose, but she has had an army of physicians and great nurses along the way to support her. At this point, she is up in Seattle working with that great army of physicians as she goes through 6 weeks of radiation therapy. She will have daily treatments that will last approximately 15 minutes each. Chemo does not look like an option right now because the doctor is not sure yet if that will make a difference with this kind of tumor. Christina's life expectancy at this point is five years.

On her website you will find a tab called "Tina Tumor Times", this portion of her website is filled with letters and updates from her, her amazing mother JoDee and her best friend Linsey. This is where you see the incredibly PROFOUND impact Christina has had on the lives of those around her. She is reaching out with every second she has and celebrating because God gave it to her. She is not mourning, she is not weak, she knows God is greater than any timeline or medical forecast.

Africa, the Philippines, Europe, India, states across the nation, they are hearing her story and lifting her up. Since September, her website has had over 5000 hits. Strangers, friends, saints and angels are reaching out to her simply because of the inspiration she has been and the strength she has shown through this journey. Please keep Christina and her family in your thoughts and prayers, and share her story with anyone you can think of. Pray for hope, and continued strength, understanding and perfect patience with God's timing.

We are not mourning her before she's gone. Not when we could spend the next 60+ months laughing much, loving hard, singing at the top of our lungs to ridiculous 90's pop/gospel music and dancing through our days together. Those simple and silly things are what make life so precious.

2 rubik's cubes at once!!

You thought you were smart. So since he can do one and I cant. That means he is twice as smart as me. So does that mean since he can do 2 he is 4 times smarter than me?

To the sunrise

Well I sure saw a great sunrise this morning. Kinda reminded me of the sunrises in CA, which I was told they were so great because of the smog. Well I live in WA now I was told there is no smog, right??? Now that I think about it I miss being out in the water in the early morning, having a nick's burrito. I was hoping to say something funny but I got nothing, but I do have a great picture. Tomorrow I will try and grab a real camera.

Do you know who you work with?

Well I wanted to create this blog to give my customers a way to get to know me a little more. I pride myself on working on one thing and that is honesty. This doesnt mean that I never make mistakes but I sure try not to. There sure seems to be alot of companies out there who dont even try to be honest anymore if it means they might lose out on something to gain. Our company runs van's, flatbeds's step deck's, Rgn's and Lowboy trailers all over the U.S. and Canada. If there is anything I can help you with Please let me know. My email is Danad@apfreight.com My office line is 800-628-6419-Ext-212. Here is a link to my to my wifes myspace which will tell you a little more about my family which I love so much. myspace.com/andieluv
